January 30, 2013 - 10:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A hot trailer for Upside Down , the second feature from French-Argentinian director Juan Diego Solanas has hit the web, Deadline said. In the romantic fantasy film, Kirsten Dunst and Jim Sturgess are star-crossed lovers separated by class, wealth, and a pair of side by side planets whose gravities are mutually incompatible in Upside Down. More than two years after wrapping in late 2010, the ambitious science fantasy romance, made for only $50M, will finally get a limited North American platform release beginning March 15. A dual production by Studio 37 and Onyx Films, Upside Down is distributed by Millennium Entertainment.

Audiences continue to long for tales of forbidden love. From the ancient tale of Tristan and Isolde to the modern-day saga of Edward and Bella, we love ourselves a good story of love defeating the rules. STORY: Heat Vision's Top 10 Geek Movies of 2012 The theatrical trailer for the Juan Diego Solanas -directed film has debuted, and it showcases an alien universe in which two planets are close together but inverted (Visually, the effect looks similar to scenes in Inception where city streets appear overhead). Sturgess and Dunst are from opposing planets and their love appears forbidden. "I come from the only known solar system with two twin planets -- each with its own and opposite gravity. Now in our world, it's possible to fall up and to rise down," Sturgess explains in a voiceover.
