VH1 Has First TV Dibs on Kirsten Dunst-Rebel Wilson Comedy 'Bachelorette'

It looks like the "Bachelorette" party isnt quite over.

RADiUS-TWC, which grabbed rights to the edgy comedy two weeks after the Sundance Film Festival in January, has sold first network-window premiere rights to VH1. Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan and Rebel Wilson star in the R-rated wedding-themed laugher, which RADiUS-TWC released on VOD in August. The film, written and directed by Leslye Headland, quickly reached #1 on the iTunes movies chart, and it has since grossed $7 million on VOD, according to the company.

"We're always excited to explore new models for getting great content to our audience, and Bachelorette presented us with a unique opportunity" said MTV/VH1 director of acquisitions Josh Vodnoy. "Well air it before the conventional pay TV window, and provide the film's very first network premiere and much closer to the theatrical release than would be the norm."

Vodnoy negotiated the deal with TWC execFrancois Martin on behalf of RADiUS.

Run by Jason Janego and Tom Quinn, RADiUS-TWC will next release Nicolas Winding Refns "Only God Forgives" and Errol Morris' "The Unknown Known."
