Kirsten Dunsts early modeling gig: A Baby-Sitters Club book cover!

Image
Paul Morigi/WireImage, Scholastic Kirsten Dunst may be a famous actress now, but at one point in time, her claim to fame was having been baby-sat by a member of "The Baby-Sitters Club." OK, not literally (because it's a fictional club, obviously). But Dunst did appear on the cover of one of Ann M. Martin's famous books about a band of middle-school sitters. Fans of the series for preteens may remember the cover of "Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls," which shows funky BSC member Claudia Kishi holding a blond toddler. Sure enough, that toddler was modeled after Dunst herself, in her years before "Interview with the Vampire" (in which she spookily played a preteen vamp named Claudia). Shia LaBeouf Won't Have Sex In 'Nymphomaniac,' Kirsten Dunst Predicts

Much ado has been made over the title and plot of Lars von Trier's upcoming movie, "Nymphomaniac" and rightly so, as the film's subject matter revolves around the title, along with the fact that the Danish director will reportedly make two versions of the film one less racy than the other. The film's leading man Shia LaBeouf has not been shy about his gung-ho attitude toward the film and has said he plans to give the performance his all , whatever that might require whether it's being in an actual sex scene or a simulated one. Naturally, the film is a buzzworthy one, especially with a boundary-pushing filmmaker like Von Trier at the helm. MTV News recently caught up with someone familiar with the director's style and sentiments, Kirsten Dunst, who starred in his last movie "Melancholia," to see if we'll actually be seeing sex on screen when push comes to shove (no pun intended). "Lars isn't going to make them have sex for real,...

'Bachelorette': Kirsten Dunst leads a fine cast in another comedy about bridesmaids

Radius-TWC Dude, I think they;re checking you out. From left, Lizzy Caplan, Kirsten Dunst and Isla Fisher. By Stephen Whitty Newark Star-Ledger You know that TV show "The Bachelorette"? The confessionals, the filmed dates, the rose ceremonies? Trista? The whole trumped-up, teary, romance-novel fantasy? This is so not that story. "Bachelorette," the movie, is based on something else. Bad behavior, mostly. Also jealousy, lust and pride. And booze. Lots and lots of booze. "Bachelorette" is going to be dismissed as a rip-off of "Bridesmaids" -- the success of which made this movie possible, if not inevitable. But it's more like a gender-bent "The Hangover." And it has its own charms, and its own problems. It's based on first-time director Leslye Headland's play, and it divides its heroines into simple types. There's Regan, the controlling yuppie witch; Gena, the tough-but-vulnerable slut; Katie, the sweetly idiotic party gir...
