Kirsten Dunst Dishes About Hair, Beauty and Boys

Kirsten Dunst (Getty Images) Kirsten Dunst will grace the cover of the January issue of Lucky and we can think of nobody better to ring in the new year than the fresh-faced Melancholia star. It appears the golden-haired actress has a few interesting things to say about the state of her tresses and the wonders of a good spray tan.

Known for her unique sense of style, Kirsten has gone through a lot of different looks ranging from ultra short crops, to bobs, to much longer lengths. After a lot of trial and error, Kirsten has come to prefer herself with long locks. "I think I have good hair," she shared with Lucky. As it grows out, she claims her face "already looks better." Her last significant chop was inspired by her boyfriend at the time who mentioned how great he thought she looked with short hair.

What about color options? "I attract a different kind of boy when my hair's red," Kirsten confessed. "I get more quality men, like a more thoughtful, nerdy dude." Regardless of her current shade, we can't imagine Kirsten has ever struggled to turn heads.

Kristen had another unexpected tip to offer Lucky readers: sunless tanner! The porcelain-skinned actress gushed about how "glowing and gorgeous" a little faux color can make the face. She also mentioned how the fake tanner makes "you lose like five pounds immediately." Thanks Kirsten! Looks like we have another item to add to our list of beauty essentials.
